I don't even get what "hair that looks like paper' is supposed to mean

I hate hearing this! There are princesses, as thin as she is (Ariel, Aurora), but nobody criticizes them...

The thing with Belle...I agree that most of the girls would say they look like her, because a lot of girls have brown hair and brown eyes. But there's nothing wrong about this, and I don't get why some people on this site see it as a negative thing.

As for Aurora...well, she does look like a Barbie doll. But I see this as a compliment, not something bad.

I think Ariel can pull of all three looks- pretty, cute and hot, people who call her just 'cute' don't wan't to come to terms with the fact she is more than that because of their issues with the character. Haha, I have never heard anyone call her a clown? Tianas one pisses me of also but rarely anybody says anything.

Not that here's anything wrong with look like a Barbie doll, but Aurora doesn't actually look like one. She has curly hair, Barbie has straight hair. She's got a rather large nose compared to the rest of her face, Barbie has this tiny little button nose. Aurora's eyes are more round not to mention a different colour (Barbie's eyes are almond and sky blue. Aurora's eyes are dark blue or violet.) Aurora has a long, narrow face, Barbie's is more roundish, leaning towards heart shaped. People compare her to Barbie because being a blonde is a curse in this society. As for the bangs, personally I love her bangs.
As for the others, some I agree with, some I don't. But ehh.

This one is so annoying, and not true. Ariel is waaaaay more skinnier than her.
And the Pocahontas one is annoying too, her hair is gorgeous.

Oh and partly the Cinderella option - it doesn't bother me too much but I can't believe people actually prefer her new merchandise hair over her movie hair.

Some of those are idiotic. Snow White needs a tan???? There is a reason she is called Snow White (plus, I really don't get the hate of short hair). Mulan's eyes are too small? She is Asian!
I agree that Jasmine's body looks strange, but that's the overall cartooney style of her movie. And I don't like Pocahontas lips either, but what's the deal with the hair?
But mostly: Aurora looks not lika a Barbie Doll at all!

Her features make her unique, and Ariel is skinnier than she is, but people don't complain abou her looks as much as they do Jasmines. The Pocahontas one annoys me as well. Her lips are fine, and who cares about her hair moving all the time. I don't like the fact that they rarely draw a nose on her, but that is another thing.

And Tiana and Cinderella

She's WAY more than just cute, she's gorgeous. Plus her hair maybe an unnatural color but that doesn't mean she looks like a clown. Clowns have aphro like hair and her's looks nothing like that.

She is realistically beautiful! To bee honest I agree with some of these, but I don't want to be offensive, so I wont say which ones. I hate the comments about Pocahontas' and Tiana's hair.

I think it's silly of you to make such accusations. People's perception of beauty is varying, so not liking a character has nothing to do with the way the character looks For example Aurora is towards the bottom of my favorite list, but she's one of my prettiest princesses..

All of those complains are ridiculous, but seriously? "Fish Lips"? "Paper Hair"?

@LatinoLollipops- When some of us say she's just cute, we mean it. Calm down the fandom.

But really, I see Ariel as a slender, cute girl. She doesn't look attractive or gets the hots of a guy ever except when she sings and has that Colgate, super shiny, commercial smile, and when her hair is a bit messy. I see her as a doll, since she's got huge eyes and cool bangs. Of course i'd disagree with Aurora's (I think modern 80's barbies look beautiful, as do the fairytales ones back at 2006. Not the modern ones anymore. They look pretty cake-faced), Mulan's, Jasmine's (I agree with her being skinny, but it looks properly lean for her height, and only the SHORT princesses are ever highly skinny to people, so it's a pass for Ariel as well. I see them all pretty lean, in a great way. Only in some posters do they over sexualize them and make them highly skinny.)

Fish lips? Fine, your opinion, and I kind of agree with it, but I think it looks beautiful in a way. Paper hair? PLEASE. I have medium thicknesss for my hair, which people think is REALLY thinner than it looks. Poca's hair is pretty thick if it can make a huge circle.

the people that say this and the one about Mulan are being fricken racist ...the others are kinda ridiculous too...

I agree with a few of these actually, but not the Mulan, Snow, Cindy and especially not THIS one. I mean, I think Tia is beauteous, and her hair is too, and her nose is no larger than Mulan's.

I've never heard the ones about Tia and Snow. tbh I've seen more people say Snow is weird looking and insult her chest size. Aurora's is weird to me because Cinderella and Rapunzel looks way more like a typical Barbie doll. Aurora is so angular with a high forehead, not like any Barbie I've seen.

This is the only one I’ve heard. My “personal favorite” insult for Aurora is “she looks like a drag queen” like wow f u lol

There are not so many girls with smooth oval faces, with doe-like eyes, with narrow shoulders and hips yet with also waist that still looks tiny. Not having blond, fiery red or black hair doesn't make anyone look generic. In my opinion Audrey Hepburn, Natalie Portman, Olivia de Havilland, Emmy Rossum, Helena Bohnam-Carter and Marion Cotillard are more much beautiful than many blonds, raven-haired and redheads. Girls with perfect proportions like Belle are not that common( even if you don't see these proportions as perfect, they aren't all that common).

Also Pocahontas. I hate when people act like girls with big lips all look vulgar by definition. I started loathing my lips because of this.
