hajirah4, I agree and interesting you would pick Ariel considering she's your favorite.

I only chose this because some fans of Ariel refuse to believe she can do any wrong, while fans of any other princess will admit their issues. Some Ariel fans are really aggressive and defensive. I'm talkin about Ariel fans generally on the Internet though

I don't have a problem with REAL fans. I have a problem with "hipsters" who loooove Ariel because she has red hair and stuff. Those are the people who annoy me. And super annoying "fangirls". Not people on here who make good valid points about Ariel.

Also Rapunzel and to some extent with certain people, Ariel. I find it annoying when people say they love Ariel because she's a mermaid and has red hair, it's alright when you're a little kid but now it's just stupid.

Don't take me wrong, I loved Ariel as a child, but I eventually grew up and could see some bad traits in her, but some people just refuse to admit it. She is pretty, courageous and passionate and everything, but she also made bad choices and can be kinda annoying at times, and just because I think that it doesn't mean I hate her (I don't even dislike her! I just don't love her with all my heart...), but some of her fans seem to take it this way.

Not her fans on here, all of them make really good, well thought-out points, and are willing to see legitimate flaws in both her and her movie, but a lot of her fans I've found on Facebook can be super fangirl-ish and don't think she can do any wrong. Also Ariel.

And Belle, both groups act like if you have either of them in the in third or under for favorite you just told them to die.

To make it short - her fans see things in her which other DPs have as well, but Belle just throws it at them in an obvious way...

Some (not all) that I've seen find it hard to accept differing/negative opinions on the character.

Also Rapunzel, not so much on here, but in general I've seen so many fans of her that act like she's the only good Princess and go mad at you if you don't like her.

is this some kind of Ariel's and Rapunzel's fans fight? lol, it's always like this. i barely see anyone with Rapunzel and Ariel as their fave princesses. usually, Ariel's fans hate Punz, and Rapunzel's fans hate Ariel. i wonder why? =)

I don't want to generalize all Ariel fans and say they are all annoying, that is unfair. I just get really annoyed by the Ariel worshippers that try to make excuses for everything she does.

I really like Ariel, but she is lower on my list because of how she risked the fate of the ocean because of her selfish desires. Whenever I say that they always argue: " She was just trying to get her freedom, all teenagers act that way and her decision was not stupid, just reckless." I have heard this so many times. People have to accept the fact that Ariel made a selfish decision and could have destroyed the ocean. yes she was a teen, but that is no excuse.

Not all of them, I just have a problem when some fans refuse to see her as anything less than an angel. Same can go for all the princesses though.

I never found any of Princess' fans are annoying...except for Ariel's fans. Most of them act like Ariel's the best princess and often bashing others. Most of them also kind of rude when anyone said something negative about Ariel. They are always refuse the fact that Ariel is really flawed.
