There's been a poll about this for all the princesses, but not for each princess so I decided to ask this, but for each princess (Snow White and Jasmine will be in one poll since they both just cries once)

Anyway both are sad, but this one is almost too much for me, Cinderella had a chance to come out of her house, but then the chance is ruined

I think this one was sadder. She heard that the Prince wanted to marry the girl who lost her shoe, and things were finally going to get better. She was finally going to get away from her stepmother and stepsisters, then she locks the door and she's trapped.

In both situations her dreams was ruined - but when sisters tored apart her dress, her dream was to go on the ball... Now she wanna be with her true love.

The other one I'm just not as sad about because she's not paying attention. When her dress is torn it seems like the straw that breaks the camel's back and reminds us she's been suffering for so long.

I don't know which exactly to pick. The first one, the scene itself is dramatic because the stepsisters yelling and ripping the dress. In the second one, it's Cinderella who sounds dramatic. So listening to her voice in that scene makes me choose this.

The other one too. She must have thought that her dream is all impossible when it happened.

The last thing she has of her mother's is destroyed.

^That, on top of her one chance at an evening of happiness.

Plus, it's worse because the mice made that dress. they didn't JUST make it so she could have fun. they did it for her out of pure love. that must have hurt as bad as knowing it was her mom's.

Because it where she starts to give up her faith, a defining trait of Cinderella. Plus the fact that it's the last thing she had left of her mother, that we know of, and it was destroyed. The other one didn't make me sad, it actually made me resent Cinderella. Instead of crying try to find a way to escape so you can have you happy ending. You don't need to be Mulan to do this, you just need a brain and a spine, not that she's stupid or spineless, but this really bugs me.

^Exactly how could she break out of the room? It's not like she could break down the door or use something to pick the lock. Also, if you resent Cinderella for not breaking out, then you should resent Mulan for just waiting for Shang to kill her.

hatelarxena she could have tried to pick the lock with something. If she has stupid clothes for mice than she should have a needle to help pick the lock. She also could have used a chair to break it down. I don't know, at least some attempt is better than just sitting by the door crying. As for Mulan that's definitely not my favorite scene of her and yes that does bug me but Mulan has more of the right qualities.

^Yeah... because a needle is ALWAYS so effective when picking locks. Also, the chair thing... Yeah, 'cause that worked SO WELL for Merida. I think you're being biased about Mulan there... Since that's a matter of opinion. Telling her to try to break out is like telling Jasmine to try to break out of that hourglass. NOT POSSIBLE. Besides, what happened to "flaws make a character perfect"? Also, my username is hatelarxene with an E at the end, not an A.

It's because she knew she couldn't do anything. She's smart enough to know that. Unlike Merida, who's stupid enough to try in vain. Besides, didn't Mulan basically do the same thing when she thought Shang was trying to kill her?

I love her Pink dress :'(
