Sorrowfang ly in the nursery, her belly full of kits and her mate, Clawface, crouched at her side. "Calm her down! She won't stay still!" The medicine cat said.

"Jaystripe, is Raykit a good name for this kit?" Lionfang asked her.
"Hmm, I think his name should be Sunkit," Jaystripe said. Since Jaystripe always got what she wanted from Lionfang, he let her decide the kits names. Sunkit, Rosekit, and Featherkit were visited often. The medicine cat came to check on them to make sure they were healthy. The leader came to see the new members of her clan. Sorrowfang awoke then niext morning to a beutiful sunrise, shades of reds and oranges and even fe purples streamed into the nursery. Sorrowfang glanced down as tiny teeth gripped her belly.
