Chapter II: Humphrey’s Escape
“I wonder if it was a good idea coming to the wastelands” کہا Humphrey panting. Humphrey suddenly got the feeling that something was watching him, he looked behind him but there was nothing there. Then a grey بھیڑیا attacked him from behind. “Stop right there!” کہا the red wolf. “How dare آپ barge into my territory like that! Have آپ no respect!?” “Sorry, I didn’t know this was someone else’s territory!” کہا Humphrey. “Then, what are آپ doing here anyway?” کہا the grey wolf. “You see… I was hunting with my pack. I was responsible for guarding the prey, but it managed to escape…! Now everyone is hunting me down because of that! I came here seeking refuge.” “Listen, I think I can solve your problem, follow me…” کہا the grey wolf. “Wait, what!?” کہا Humphrey. Not sure of the stranger’s intentions Humphrey followed him into the woods. “Wait!” کہا Humphrey, “Why--” “By the way” کہا the grey wolf. “What’s your name?” “It’s Humphrey but--” “Mines Candou!” “Well, your problems end here, my friend. “ کہا Candou as they were approaching a bridge” “Just across that bridge lies the solution.” “Just a minute” کہا Humphrey “aren’t آپ being too kind to someone آپ just met?” Look, I know how آپ feel . I’ve had the same experience in the past. I don’t want another بھیڑیا to go through the same suffering I did” کہا Candou. “Oh yeah, right.” کہا Humphrey. “You don’t trust me, do you? But I’m worried with that…” “Trust only comes with time. Keep your head up and let’s keep going. Jane was sitting in anatomy class on دن when her teacher asked her a question. He inquired, “What grows to 10 times its original size when excited?”
Jane blushed and کہا that she didn't know. Jimmy raised his hand and said, “I know! The pupil of the eye.” The teacher replied, “Yes, very good Jimmy.”
The the teacher turned to Jane and said, “Jane I have three things to say to you: One -- آپ have a very dirty mind. Two -- آپ haven't been studying hard enough. And three -- you're going to be very disappointed!”
Jane blushed and کہا that she didn't know. Jimmy raised his hand and said, “I know! The pupil of the eye.” The teacher replied, “Yes, very good Jimmy.”
