Kate's POV

"Jason?" I called as I exited the den, "What are آپ doing?" I sat down beside him and stared blankly at him for a few moments. He took a deep breath and said, "Mother?"

"Yes sweetie?" I asked.

"Would آپ and dad never have gotten stranded if I hadn't ever been born?" He asked with his head down.

"Son why would آپ ask that?" I کہا in disbelief, "You know that's not true."

"I do?" He replied, "Mom, if I hadn't been born آپ and dad would've just stayed at ہوم with Dane, Gavan, and Anna, and آپ would've never had to leave, because آپ wouldn't have had a reason to."

"Son I...That's not true son,"

"Then tell me mother!?" He snapped, "Why did آپ and dad go and fight for?"

"For the pack."

"We both know that's not the only reason."

I sighed deeply and looked at my son, "Listen son, آپ haven't done anything wrong alright? آپ are perfect in every way possible." That's all I could say, I didn't know what else to say to him. As much as I didn't want to realize it, he was right. If he wasn't born then we wouldn't have had to leave. "Oh shut up old girl, that's your son." I thought.

"Hey, after آپ two are done, do آپ mind helping me?" Humphrey called. "Sure, I'll come help you." Jason replied and ran to help his father pull a fully grown caribou into the den. He passed me and smiled. "You're getting good at this." I کہا smiling back as they took the caribou to the far side of the den. "I had a good teacher." He کہا as he sat the caribou down. I walked to his side and sat down. We nuzzled happily and smiled at each other.

"Father I need to ask آپ something." Jason said.

"Sure anything son." He replied, "What do آپ need?"

"Well, actually three things."

"Ok, don't see how that makes much of a difference but okay."

"I'll just go outside and leave آپ two alone." I کہا as I sneaked out to the entrance of the ماند, خلوت خانہ and sat down. I started wondering again of the valley, how beautiful it was, and Lilly and the family. "Will I ever see them again?" I thought to myself.

Jason's POV

I watched as mother walked outside the ماند, خلوت خانہ then stared blankly at my father for a moment. Wondering how to put what I was going to say, and scared of what he might say.

"Dad," I started with a little bit of fear in my voice.

"Hold it son," He کہا putting his paws up, "You don't have to be afraid of me."

"I wasn- wait how did آپ tell?"

"Cause unless آپ haven't used the bathroom in eight months آپ are scared of me." He کہا chuckling and pointing at my shaking legs.

"Oh right well anyways," I کہا trying to change the subject. "There's this....girl."

"You have a girlfriend!" He screamed.

"Shhhhh I don't want mom to know." I کہا hitting him in the back of the head.

"You have a girlfriend?" He whispered.

"Not yet, but I am thinking about her a lot."

"Ehhh...that's my boy." He کہا smiling.

"Another thing is آپ know how I came from the valley?"

"Where are آپ going with this?"

"Well, how the hell am I going to get ہوم dad?" I کہا starting to shake again, "I don't want to stay here."

"Well...I...uh," He starting giggling, " I...uh....I don't know son."
He looked out in the direction of the valley. "Hmm...I wonder." He کہا getting up from where he was. He walked outside to where mother was and started to sniff and looked back at me sitting in the den. "Would that work?" He asked himself. "Would what work dad?" I asked staring at him walking around the den. All of a suden he just stopped, looked dead at me, and said, "I have an idea."

Anna's POV

"Hey everyone!" Tanner screamed walking into their ہوم valley, "Look! Fresh meat!"

"Wait what!" I screamed as I looked around at the lines of male wolves running down each side of the valley to come and meet me. They all just kept coming and kept coming. From the looks of things, I was the only female here, except for a little old scrawny old female omega in the back. I pushed through all the guys and finally got to her. She was black with a white underbelly and green eyes.

"Hey." I کہا trying to start a conversation.

"Leave me alone." She کہا walking away.

"Oh don't worry about her. She always has her فر, سمور in a wad. Come on and meet some of our brothers." He کہا trying to walk me back towards the guys. He then stopped when he felt my resistence and turned to notice me staring back at the girl. "Anna, come one girl." He کہا as he whistled, "Come on doggy!" I turned around and slapped him a good one and turned back around to see that she was gone. "Wha- wait." I called but no answer.

I turned back to go to the males.

Garth's POV

I entered the ماند, خلوت خانہ to see Dane laying on the floor with Lilly. "Now what is he doing here?" I wondered to myself. I just stared blankly for a moment then Lilly got up and said, "Hey handsome, when did آپ get back?"

"What was Dane doing here?"

"Oh, I got a little sick, and he just came to be with me while آپ were out."

"OH, are آپ alright?"

"I am now, but if it wasn't for Dane to cuddle with me last night, and I know it sounds bad, but we would've frozen our areses off last night. I got really cold."

"Last night was pretty chilly."

"CHILLY!" Dane screamed as he jumped up, "IT WAS FU-...freaking cold."

"You better watch your mouth there young man." I said.I then heard something out of my right ear. My ear twitched and I said, "Hey, did آپ hear that?"

"Hear what?" Dane asked.

"That....noise." I کہا slowly running towards the enterence of the den. Lilly sitting beside me, she quinced the she slowly said, "That's......."

"That's what?" Dane asked worry started to come out of his voice.

"That's.........Humphrey."
