How can I make an Avatar AMV???

i kno this سوال sounds kinda stupid but i reeeeeeeaaaaallllyyyy want to make one but I DONT KNOW HOW!!!! I tried downloading the clips from Limewire and all sorts of stuff but i wont work!!! Can someone PLZZZZ help me????
