Do آپ believe in مصنف powers? 8D

Yes, I do believe in مصنف power. Because writing a fic itself is giving power to a person to change the original canon story around. مصنف notes are acceptable, because an مصنف does need to write a little note to the readers, but to me, they are acceptable as long as they are before یا after the fic. ANs between fics, however, is a big no-no for me. ANs inserted in the middle of a fic can ruin the entire tone of the story, and jolts آپ back to reality and آپ think that "oh yeah, it's just a fanfiction."

Self-inserts in general bothers me a lot, don't even ask why. It's just really, really annoying, and most of them are badly written in my fandom. Fourth دیوار breakages.. hmm, haven't seen much of those around, but I'm not really fond of those either. Basically, I prefer fics to be taking place in its universe, and the authors' role in this is just writing the story itself, and that's it.

مصنف notes are fine either at the start یا end of a chapter. Sometimes they're necessary, e.g. a note explaining that the اگلے chapter will be delayed for some reason یا other. An مصنف note in the middle of the chapter spoils the flow though.

مصنف powers and ruling the story - what do آپ mean? The مصنف decides what happens in the story, that is what it means to be the author. آپ can do whatever آپ want (as long as آپ mention canon divergence, AU etc in the summary, since some people dislike this)

I've read a few self-insertions and they've been ok. I know a lot of people hate the majority, یا hate them all, though. Maybe I've been lucky in the ones I've found.

I don't really like fourth دیوار breakage. Like the mid-chapter notes, it breaks the flow.
