Fanpop Article: What happened to the Meebo bar

Today on June 6th, The Meebo bar was not working. Many شائقین could not log on and all of them thought that it was a glitch یا a fail. But then, according to snakemanfan, Google shut down Meebo permanently to work on Google+. It is totally damn stupid. I know that many people use the meebo bar in order for chatting on Fanpop and other stuff, But this is just sad. Google want to dominate the whole internet. Just because Google+ is being updated just does not mean that آپ have to shut down the Meebo bar permanently. So today, We have to say our Final Words to the Meebo bar as it shuts down forever.

This will be a really sad thing for users who have used the Meebo Bar. I really do not know if they will replace it یا bring it back, But for now, Meebo is gone, Forever. :( :( :(

Some of us were in the middle of things I am sure. Meebo was not just for live chat, it was for updates. I could do without all the sensitive ads and bttns. Fanpop Games was a trial run on the Meeb too. I rather liked live updates Meebo offered. Some notice though on stuff wud be good if possible!

zanesaaomgfan It's not just Fanpop either. On Wattpad, meebo chat was how I talked to my fans. Now, how can I talk to them and instantly respond? :/

MidNightX_X I've been a fanpop user for over 3 years now and i admit Meebo had its glitches from time to time but this is just wrong... i have a lot of friends that i chat with on this site and its now really annoying to be constantly messaging them to be able to chat instead of just chatting. will they at least replace it? why didnt fanpop think ahead of this?

Bulk posting kills الفاظ مطلوبہ

Okay this soapbox sadly, is going to point fingers so people can learn from this. I don't like having to point fingers but it seems no one gets the message across if it isn't done.

What is bulk posting? It's when آپ post multiple things all at the same time. So when آپ do that the الفاظ مطلوبہ آپ give are going to be the same for every single thing آپ post.

Why do people bulk post? Well the excuse used can be "I want to share great content with others" but really it turns مزید into a quantity over quality.

Why is this harming keywords? When people bulk post they only put a general amount of keywords...

Hello Fanpoppers. سے طرف کی now آپ may have noticed a nifty new feature was rolled out this afternoon. It's the Fanpop Pop Quiz, a way to test your knowledge of all sorts of arcane trivia from movies, to موسیقی to hamsters.
