Lately I have noticed a swell in the amount of inappropriate comments. تبصرے that have sexual innuendo, are hurtful, یا are just plain gross, and most of the time they have nothing to do with the topic at hand. What I fail to grasp is why people feel like they need to do this. I can't understand why they can't control themselves and write something appropriate یا nothing at all. Is it a lack of sense of humor? Do they not realize that people spend a lot of time contributing to this site and a تبصرہ like that can make all their efforts feel wasted? یا do they not understand that what they are saying is offensive یا hurtful? Whatever the reason is, it is inappropriate and unacceptable. Now, just as a preface I am not talking about people expressing their opinion. I am all for expressing your opinion even if I do not agree with what آپ are saying. I am talking about things that are just inappropriate to say in a public forum. Most of the things I am trying to adress in this مضمون are not appropriate to be کہا period. I have seen people as young as 9 on this site. That's right 9! Now I do believe that it is their parent's responsibility to monitor what they are doing on the internet, but I also believe that there is no reason they shouldn't be able to participate in website like this. There is no reason on a site like this that we need to be writing sexual تبصرے about other people in a place where everyone and their dog can see it. If آپ feel that way about somebody an appropriate way to express that feeling is in private. Also, it is just plain hurtful to write تبصرے یا سوالات that point out a specific flaw that آپ see in a person. For example, “Don’t آپ hate when people do blah blah blah.“ When it is perfectly obvious who آپ are attacking. Something like this is better expressed in an میل ای directly to the person آپ are talking about. Let’s just get this out of the way right here, right now (just as a warning I am writing specific examples so if آپ are one of the innocent children I am attempting to defend in this مضمون please skip to where آپ see this *HERE*): it is not funny to write poop repeatedly, it is not cute to talk about putting مکھن on someone’s private parts(especially when the person آپ are talking about is like 15), it is not amusing to say that someone is ugly. It is hurtful and mean, and since I am not these things, that is as specific as I will get with my examples and I will not specific offenders. *HERE* I believe the people who are responsible for this know who they are and they have the choice to change their actions یا not. Just know that when people like me see تبصرے that are offensive sexually یا otherwise, I don't think آپ are funny یا cute. I think that آپ are very immature. I honestly take pity on آپ for your lack of self awareness and social skills. So if آپ can't say something nice (or appropriate)....SHUT UP!
I was thinking about the جوابات feature, how it's so much مزید used than the forums. The point of the جوابات was to ask for help on something to do with what you're a پرستار of, but it's also being used to discuss things like "What's the best Simpsons Character" یا "Disney should make 2D cartoons again", something like that. That's what the فورم are made for, but most of these kind of سوالات are used in the "answer" section anyway. The real فورم are hardly used now. Nearly everywhere I look, the last reply to a فورم was 1 سال ago.
Althought I can understand why these سوالات are in the جوابات section. The سوالات are easier to notice and آپ can vote for what the best answer is.
So I was thinking, why not just make the جوابات the new forums? Get rid of the old forum. That way, آپ can post whatever آپ want, there's 1 less section to worry about where to ask, the سوالات are مزید likely to be answered and there's no/less rule breaking.
