Do آپ personally find the word 'Queer' insulting & offensive when referring to LGBT population in general یا is it quite acceptable to آپ as a perfect substitute for the LGBT which is an acronyme after all?

I personally don't like the word Queer. It just doesn't sound like a nice word and it sounds weird.
But for the most part, people use the word in a positive way, so I don't think its insulting یا offensive.

Yeah I'm not really a پرستار of being called queer. It's usually not something that's used positively. If other people want to be called that then fine, but not me.

I personally don't like it, but if others want to use it to refer to themselves, that's fine. Ultimately, it depends on the context.

I just think others within the LGBT 'community' should be mindful that not everyone is okay with being called queer, یا calling it the 'queer community.'
