He's one of my favourite characters in Harry Potter. Jacob is okay I guess for a Twilight character but he annoys me.

Although (and I may be wrong since this was just the movie) I rewatched PoA today, and Severus (hehe) mentioned that there are three ways to be a werewolf in that universe: shape-shifting, being bitten, or being born one (perhaps like leetle Teddy). Yes, I do see your point, angelfire0264. However, the point of Imprinting was to pass on the werewolf gene, right? So the werewolf does intend on making love to their Imprintee at some point, right? So while Jacob is not planning on doing anything while Renesmee is still a baby, he is still Child Grooming. Child Grooming is a form of pedophilia where an adult raises a child to trust them so that they can make love to that child (sometimes in the form of rape). Technically, that is what Jacob is doing.

I picked Remus ONLY because I don't see Jacob as a wearwolf, just a shape-shifter.

Oh dear Remus. He was not only the better werewolf, but he was a great character. I loved him really much and I cried my eyes out when he died. Remus was such a loving, caring man and he tried to help Harry all he could and he died fighting Voldemort, what's not to love?

And besides all of that, WHEN he becomes a werwolf, he is actually a REAL werewolf. I am not talking about the names "werewolf" vs. "shapeshifter". I am talking about the behaviour. Werewolves, in the mythology, are vicious creatures who dont have anything in common with their human self. So all the Twilighters who say that Remus Lupin tried to hurt others while being a werewolf must live in some far far away world from the fantasy-world. The fantasy genre is filled with awesome and magical creatures like vampires and werewolves, but they're not supposed to be like human beings and share the same moral set and characteristics with humans. That is what makes these creatures unique and intriguing to read and talk about.

So please stop making vampires and werewolves cute sweet Disney characters, because they are not.

ok, TECHNICALLY he IS a shapeshifter, not a werewolf. I chose him because he would be more like a big protective brother instead of the father that wants to beat you with a wooden spoon.
