Will we see Dumbledore in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them?

While answering fan questions on Monday, Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling revealed who her favorite character in the series is, besides Harry.

Rowling\'s revelation comes just days after the new Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them trailer was released. The author also answered questions regarding the trailer, where it\'s said Albus Dumbledore was very fond of Newt Scamander, the film\'s star.

Dumbledore, "who was a young teacher at the time," came to Scamander\'s defense after the student was kicked out of Hogwarts for endangering others. However, as Rowling tweeted, Dumbledore "wasn\'t able to revoke expulsions."

When asked why Dumbledore was "so fond" of Scamander, Rowling replied, "Albus Dumbledore is fond of Newt Scamander for the same reasons that I am fond of Newt Scamander. You\'re welcome."
