Setting: Michael is in his libaray reading when his friend comes in after going to the bookstore and buying all three of the hunger games books.

The Following Day
I woke up in the recovery room in the hospital. I looked around and I saw balloons and cards right اگلے to my bed. I reached over and grabbed one of the cards and silently read it to myself. Soon, my nurse came in.

I couldn't take all this in. I think she must have sensed my unease.

"You have to go! Before it's too late."
"I can't, Jade. I'm supposed to be here for a week...And I have no car to go anywhere..."

Hmm...A week...with Michael? That didn't sound so bad. I've been waiting for company...how long?...always having to keep people away, though. But no matter how hard I would try to get him to leave, I knew he wouldn't leave. That protective look in...

The following morning
Ashley woke up and wished she hadn't woken up. She wished she was only dreaming, but she knew it wasn't a dream...not even a nightmare.
