Hi, everyone! Antonia here, and I promised that I would do an مضمون like this. I know that several of آپ have done this for your pets, past and present. This time, I'm doing one of my three dogs. Here it goes.

1. What are your pets' names? Their names are Roxy, River, and Roscoe.

2. What kind of pets are they and what breeds? Roxy is a Staffordshire بیل ٹیریر (a Pit بیل breed). River is a Siberian Husky. Roscoe is a Gerberian Shepsky (German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix).

3. How long have آپ had your pets? I've had Roxy since February 2009, so I've had her for ten whole years. I've had River since late May 2017, so it will be two years in May. I've had Roscoe since October, I think, so it's been four months.

4. How did آپ get your pets? Roxy had to go to a new home, because her owner was moving to a place that didn't allow dogs, so I adopted her. River was rescued from an abusive owner as a puppy. Roscoe's story is similar to Roxy's. The only difference is Roscoe's owner's apartment allowed dogs, but his owner didn't have time for him anymore.

5. How old are your pets? Roxy is ten and a half. She'll be eleven on August 7. River is one and ten months. She'll be two on April 6. Roscoe is almost ten months old. He'll be one on April 28.

6. What are some quirky things about your pets' personalities? Roxy likes lettuce. Most dogs won't even touch it. River is a relatively quiet dog, even though Siberian Huskies are known for being vocal. She only howls when excited, and she'll occasionally "talk" to me. She never ever barks. Of course, Huskies aren't typically barkers. Roscoe plays dead to get out of doing things he'd rather not do, like going to the vet, but he cannot do it convincingly, because he never stays still. He also has a habit of opening one eye to see if anyone is buying it. Another quirk of Roscoe's is he loves to get in the bathtub یا the shower. If you're taking a شاور یا a bath, آپ better keep the bathroom door closed, یا Roscoe's coming in.

7. What does your relationship with your pets mean to you? Everything, enough said.

8. What are some of your پسندیدہ past times with your pets? I love walking and hiking with my dogs. I also enjoy chilling in the backyard with them.

9. What nicknames do آپ call your pets? I tend to call Roxy "Roxy Loxy". I can't help it. I sometimes call her "Miss Alpha", because she's the alpha of the dogs. I often call River "Little Girl", even though she's not so little anymore. She's actually big in comparison to Roxy, but I've had that nickname for River since she was a puppy. I also call her "Little Sweetheart" and "Rivs". I sometimes tend to call Roscoe "Roscoe Bosco". Most of the time, I call him "Big Goof".

There آپ have it. I hope آپ can take pleasure in learning about my dogs. If آپ didn't enjoy it, please be respectful. If آپ can't do that, then, as my dear friend Paul would say, piss off!

Peace and love,
-Antonia
I was always told that the سیکنڈ دن of school is never as bad as the first. It's true. My سیکنڈ دن of school wasn't as bad as the first. It was worse. One of the bullies poured some water on the floor just to watch me fall. I wasn't hurt, not physically anyway. What did I do to deserve that? I don't know. When I was walking to the bus, some of the other kids threw rocks at me. It really hurt. I came ہوم crying. I had some cuts and bruises, but I was okay physically. Emotionally, I was the opposite. My aunt said, "Winter, try to see the good side. You're not hurt too badly. I'm sure you'll...

Moving to Tennessee was bittersweet for me. I was closer to family members, but it was also a big adjustment. I lived in Illinois for the first twelve years of my life. When I started school, I tried to make some friends. A group of kids invited me to sit with them during lunch. "Hooray! New friends!" I thought to myself. I introduced myself. I talked about being from Illinois. To my surprise, they did not make fun of my accent. One of them explained, "You have that there Midwestern accent. It's the accent that doesn't offend nobody. That's why most of them newscasters are Midwestern." I said,...

When I had entered the fifth grade, I was dreading it. I had heard rumors that the teacher was really mean. When I met her before school started, she seemed really nice. On the first دن of school, I was wearing one of my Beatles t-shirts. She noticed it, and she said, "Darling, I love آپ already!" I said, "Okay, then." She would take up for me all the time. The other kids often called me glasses. She heard them and said, "She has a name, guys. Her name is not glasses. It's Winter." There was one دن when another girl kept picking on me. I finally had enough and said, "I might look sweet and innocent, but that shit is for suckers, and I'm no lollipop." I looked at the teacher. She winked and said, "I heard nothing." I would have had her for the sixth grade, too, but unfortunately, I moved to Tennessee as soon as the school سال was over. We both cried. We promised to keep in touch with each other, and we've kept in touch to this day.

When I got a little older, the mean nicknames started to fly. In the third grade, I got called chicken legs a lot. I don't know why. Chickens don't have long legs like mine, the last time I checked. Every time I'd walk through the hallways, someone would shout, "There goes chicken legs." I would remind them, "My name is not chicken legs. It's Winter." سے طرف کی the time spring came, I was so tired of being called chicken legs. One day, one of my classmates said, "Hey, chicken legs!" I said, "That's better than what آپ are." He said, "Oh, really? What am I?" I said, "You're a horse's ass." He didn't...

I was once asked, "If آپ could compare yourself to a literary character, who do آپ think you'd be?" I کہا that I see myself as the Ugly Duckling. I started out as a complete outcast, and I blossomed into a beautiful swan. This is a metaphor, of course. This is how my story goes. I was raised سے طرف کی my aunt and uncle. I never really knew my parents, as I lost them at a young age. I was lucky that they took me in. If not for them, I would have been dumped in a orphanage. I knew that they loved me, but getting everyone else to like me was harder. The other kids picked on me all the time. I don't...

Today was the last full دن of school. We had our annual awards ceremony today. Some of my دوستوں got awards for highest average in certain subjects. I didn't expect to get one. I wouldn't have minded if I didn't. But I did! I got the Model Citizen Award. Apparently, many of my fellow students کہا some good things about me. After school, I told John about it. He wanted to come, but he was out of town preparing for a کنسرٹ with his band. He said, "I'm happy for you, Grace! آپ deserve it." I said, "Really?" He said, "Yes, really. When I picked آپ up from school, I met some of...

Today was Good Friday. We got a دن off from school. I was walking down the سٹریٹ, گلی with John, and I saw Kimberly, the girl who betrayed me. I kept my head down, hoping she wouldn't notice me, but she did. She said, "Hey, Grace!" I said, "Hey, Judas!" John said, "Oh, so, that's the girl who stabbed آپ in the back." I nodded. She said, "You're not still sore at me, are you, Grace?" I said, "I forgive, but I never forget." Suddenly, John stuck it to her. He said, "How dare آپ do this thing to Grace! She had been nothing but nice to her, and آپ took her دل and ripped it into...

I'm all better now. I can speak clearly. I am caught up with my school work. I talked with John today. He said, "I'm glad you're feeling better. I'm actually sick myself." I said, "Oh, no! What's wrong?" He said, "It's just a cold. I'm sure I'll be fine in a few days." I said, "I hope آپ feel better." He said, "Thank you. The worst part is not being able to go to the recording studio with my mates. I hate that I can't do that. They told me that they won't go if I don't. I said, 'No, it's fine. I'll introduce my songs when I come back.' Allen said, 'Take care of yourself, John....

I am sick again. This time, I have laryngitis. I cannot talk at all. I can only communicate through text messages. John came سے طرف کی the house. My aunt told him that I was sick. He came into my bedroom. I was excited to see him, and I tried to talk with him, but I couldn't get any words out. He said, "You don't have to talk, Grace. Just listen." I sat up. He said, "I brought آپ a little present." He reached in his bag and handed me a teddy bear. He said, "My grandmother made if for me when I was five years old." I texted, "John, I can't take this. It's something your grandmother made...

I am so happy that our house has been rebuilt. We settled in just a few weeks ago. Things have been crazy, which explains why I haven't written anything in a while. They've calmed down, thankfully. I am thirteen now. Today was my thirteenth birthday. It was so much better than my twelfth birthday. There was really only one bad part about my birthday. I was browsing the Internet, and I read that Peter from The Devil Wants Peace was in a car crash. I called John to see if it was true یا if it was just a nasty rumor. I said, "John, I read that Peter was in a car crash. Is it true?"...

We are now in a new year. School started again today. My schoolmates have been flocking to me, asking me سوالات about losing my ہوم in a fire. It became a game of a thousand questions. The one سوال that most of them didn't ask: Are آپ okay? I became fed up with it. Michael later found me sitting in the lunchroom alone. He said, "Hey. Are آپ okay?" I said, "You know, you're the only the third person to ask me that." He said, "Really?" I said, "Yeah. I had to get away from all the questions. It was a terrifying experience." He said, "I can imagine. آپ got burnt pretty...

Even though it is Christmas, things have not exactly been jolly for us. A few weeks ago, our Christmas lights had burned our house down. My aunt and uncle escaped unharmed, but I got trapped. I saw a firefighter coming to my rescue, and before I fell unconscious, I said, "Please help me." When I woke up, I was in the hospital. The doctor said, "It's good that you're awake now." I asked if my aunt and uncle were okay. The doctor said, "They're fine. They're in the waiting room right now. آپ gave them quite a scare, young lady." I said, "I'm not going to die, am I?" He said,...

Today was Thanksgiving, (for the United States). Thanksgiving has always been my پسندیدہ holiday. It is a time to get together with the family without the pressure of buying gifts for them, and I like food. I helped a bit with preparing the dinner, but I mostly set the table. Grandma didn't want me to burn myself. It's happened in the past. Anyway, John managed to find his way. Whenever we would sit at the table, we would all say what we are thankful for before eating the food. We allowed John to go first, since he was new to the family. He said, "I'm thankful for my band...

I've been having quite a weekend so far. Yesterday, after school, my aunt and uncle noticed that I was still feeling a little down. They decided to take me to a hiking trail, since I enjoy nature. Everything was going well, but suddenly, I got separated from them سے طرف کی mistake. I tried to go back the way I came, but there were so many twists and turns, and I became increasingly confused. Pretty soon, I came across a log cabin. I کہا to myself, "I wonder if anyone lives there. Maybe I can get some help." I knocked on the door, but the only answer was a barking dog. I decided to...

Today at school, I had my worst دن yet. I was on my way to my last class, and I overheard Kimberly talking to one of her friends. Her friend said, "I don't understand why you're دوستوں with Grace. She's just, I don't know, so dorky." I didn't like that, but I kept quiet to see where it was going. Kimberly said, "I'm not دوستوں with Grace, Isabella!" My eyes widened. She wasn't دوستوں with me? Was she denying our friendship out of fear? Isabella said, "I've seen آپ with her, doing the friendly banter. آپ two do your homework together." Kimberly said, "Okay, here's the thing....

Ever since I saved Freddy's life, my schoolmates have looked at me differently. They actually respect me now. I like that I've gained respect, but I never wanted to be popular. I enjoy being around people, but I hate being the center of attention. It's awful. The مقبول girls even look my way now. We don't have a lot in common, but one of them seems nice enough. Her name is Kimberly. However, there might be a problem with her and my other friends, particularly Bridget. Bridget کہا to me today, "Grace, it's good that you're nice and friendly to everyone, but I'd watch my back...

Today at school, I had an experience I will never forget. I had just finished my lunch, and I went to throw something away. Suddenly, I heard someone shouting, "Somebody, help! My friend is choking!" I rushed to the scene. One of the kids looked up at me desperately and said, "I don't know what to do." I said, "But I do!" As I کہا that, I gave his friend a sharp blow between the shoulders. The boy was able to cough it up forcefully. Once he could talk again, he said, "Thank you." I said, "You're welcome. Are آپ okay?" He said, "Yeah." Later, I was getting ready to head home....

I am feeling much better today. I don't feel great, but I feel much better than I did a few days ago. I was able to go to school today. Michael, Sabrina, and Bridget helped me get caught up in my classes. I'm lucky to have such good friends. Of course, I did feel a bit tired after finishing my homework. I took a nap for a while. When I woke up, it was almost 6:00 pm. I didn't realize I had slept that long. When رات کے کھانے, شام کا کھانا time came, I ate really well. I didn't feel like eating much for the past couple of days. My appetite has returned. I think I will go to بستر early tonight. I'm feeling pretty tired right now. I'm not completely better, but I'm close to it.

I missed school today, because I am sick. I picked up an upper respiratory infection as a result of my allergies to ragweed. It's the only thing I'm allergic to. Of course, of all things to be allergic to, I had to be allergic to something that's hard to avoid. I mean, ragweed pollen blooms in late August and spreads around from early September to the middle of November. How does one avoid that? Anyway, I started feeling bad yesterday, and last night, my aunt took me to the emergency room, because I had a terrible cough and sounded extremely hoarse. She said, "You could've...

Today was the first دن of school. It was not a good day, یا maybe it was, depending on how one looks at it. I got beat up, but I am glad that I took a beating for someone else. What happened was this. I saw some girls bullying the new girl. I walked up to the bullies and said, "Stop it! Why are آپ being so mean? What did this girl ever do to you?" The ring leader said, "Stay out of this, Grace! This doesn't concern you!" I said, "On the contrary, I think it does." Another one of the girls said, "She says she has Autism یا some kind of enlightenment crap." I said, "That's no...
