This story is mostly random things that happen to me in story form. I just added some characters, changed some names and voila! So it’s very weird and آپ may even find it funny. So enjoy
“Ms. M give me the phone!” I was crawling over the میز, جدول trying to take her بلیک بیری away from her again. This happened about twice a week. Why آپ may ask? To talk to Jaafar of course! Our twice, maybe three یا four times a week phone conversations had been going on since December. The only challenge was convincing Ms. M, my موسیقی production teacher, to give me her phone so I could call the house. آپ see, Ms. M goes to church with Kat, which is Jaafar’s grandmother. She’s known their family for years! Ms. M looks 25 یا 26, but she’s not (Don’t tell her I told you!). Now, back to the present. As usual, Ms. M gets tired causing her to relinquish her phone into my sweaty palms. I then wave the phone victoriously in the air and sit back in my blue swivel chair.
“Fine, but don’t embarrass me”, Ms. M کہا defeated
“When do I ever?” I asked scrolling down her contacts. “….Kai, Kanye, Katherine!”
After a few rings I heard a familiar voice on the other end. “Hello?”
“Hey Donte, it’s Kayla”, I answered
“Hey Kay, I haven’t seen آپ in weeks! Are آپ ever going to come and visit us again?” He sounded sad. That’s very unusual. He must be in one of his moods. A trip to Chuck E Cheese aught to do him some good.
“How about we go to Chuck E Cheese? You, me, your cousins?” I hope he’d say yes. He may have graduated high school, but there’s still times when he and Randy act like 10 سال olds. Those are the good times.
“Sure! When?” he asked excitedly
“When Blanket gets out of school” Somehow Blanket talked his teacher into giving him 2 weeks off for Spring Vacation so he still has another week of school left.
“But, that’s in a week!”
“You’ll live! Now let me talk to your brother.”
“Randy?” he asked. He does this every time I call and he جوابات the phone. He knows exactly who I want to talk to.
"No"
“Jermajesty?”
“No” It’s a good thing he’s only got 3 brothers because if he had مزید I’d slap him!
“Oh, آپ mean my younger brother Jaafar. The one also born in 1996 that آپ think is a “freakin’ hot tamale”. I now regret telling Ms. M that.
I could hear Jaafar in the background, “Is that Kayla? Give me the phone!”
“Bye K-“ Donte’s voice was cut off سے طرف کی Jaafar’s. “Hey”
“Hi”, now Donte made this extremely awkward.
“So, آپ think I’m a hot tamale?” he asked.
Crap. Now I have to think fast. “Um, yeah. As in our a hot تامیل, ٹامالا that burns me when I touch you?” Okay, that was dumb. Maybe he’ll leave it alone.
“Oh, okay then” did he sound sad? Maybe I’m just imagining things. “Um Prince wants to talk to you” Before I could say anything I heard Prince’s voice “Is it true?!”
“Is what true?” I asked confused
“Do آپ really like Jaafar?” he replied
“What?!” I asked, this couldn’t be happeneing.
“I said, are we really going to Chuck E Cheese when Blanket gets out of school?”
Oh, so that’s what he said. “Oh, yeah. I promise I’ll take آپ guys اگلے week” I کہا relieved.
“Ok, we gotta got to karate. Jaafar کہا he’ll call آپ tomorrow. He wants your number”
Yes, He wants my number! “Okay, it’s (***) ***-****.”
“Okay, bye Kayla” Prince said
“Bye Princeola”, I کہا then hung up.
Ms. M stood up from her chair excitedly. “Does this mean that آپ won’t fight me for my phone?” she asked
“Maybe”, I کہا then walked out of her classroom.
