Aw. I know exactly how آپ feel, my grandmother is dead, also. Even though I was only four, I still feel the pain. آپ may have some difficult times where flashbacks hit you, but آپ still have your mother to talk with. She has the same pain as آپ do, and آپ two can help each other through it. I hardly pray, but I'll try to pray for both آپ and your mother.
