What is the worst way to respond to 'I love you'?

Either saying "thank you" یا something along the lines of...

I always say "I love myself too" in response to other people that aren't my boyfriend یا my family, and they always have that look on their face hahahahah.

I'm guessing something to do with rape یا killing یا torturing. That would be a horrible response.

And I love (someone else`s name hear)

Not responding can be bad... I do that when I don't know them that well/don't believe them. xD

Lol once I had this boyfriend (he used to be my best guy friend befor that) who told me he loved me a lot but unfortunately I realized I didn't love him back so I usually answered... *awkward silence*, "thanks", "okay", *this is just our first date, omg!" haha, it was pretty bad xD
