do آپ think narratives used in romantic comedies are stereotypical? e.g. storyline, characters (good/bad etc)

im doing an essay for media studies on whether narratives in romantic comedies are stereotpical. Narratives are like the storyline so for example a typical rom com starts of good, gets bad, then gets resolved. Another narrative is binary opposites so آپ always have a good and a bad person in a rom com. Need to put some primary research in my essay so جوابات will be much appreciated! thanks! :)
