"Jessica and Bryan." Mrs. M called. Jess and Bryan went up to get their cards, and I saw something spark in Jess's eyes like she was excited aobut her role, but nobody knew what their roles were.

"Brittani and Douglas."

I stayed, clinging to my seat, holding on to the vinyl سے طرف کی my fingernails. Doug got up, and pulled my arm to get me off. For a fourteen سال old jock, he is strong.

I nervously walked up to Mrs. M and got my card, adn sat down.

"Ok, open your cards." Mrs. M said. Everyone else did as she told them to, I just stood there with my card. Then, I opened it.

"In these cards, are your roles. I will point to آپ in whatever order I choose. When I do, give me your role. Jessica."

"Bridgette." She کہا emotionless. Jessica usually is kinda emotionless, but only in certain situations like this.

"Bryan." Mrs. M said.

"Justin." Bryan answered, kinda excited but kinda peeved off at the same time.

"Rachel."

"Heather." Rachel said. I laughed a bit to myself, then she laughed to herself.

"Caitlyn."

"Isabelle." Cait said, excitedly. I didn't know if that was just her hormones یا something, because she's typically nuts.

"Douglas."

Then, time stopped for a sec, then started up again. Suspensefully, Douglas opened his envelope, looked at his card, and a small smirk played across his lips. "Duncan."

He turned his head a bit and looked at me.

"What?!" I asked impatiently.

"You'll find out, Princess." he smirked and turned his head back to Mrs. M, who was scribbling something down on a clipboard.

"Brittani." Mrs. M didn't look up from her writing. I looked at Douglas and narrowed my eyes at him, then opened my envelope. I looked at the card.

"Courtney...?" I said, unsure of who Courtney was.

Then, everybody but me, Mrs M, and Douglas, gasped at my answer.

"WHAT?!?" I asked again.

Caitlyn, Jess and Rachel darted up to me. "DUH! Courtney?!?" Caitlyn asked.

"I don't know who she is, and I've never even seen this stupid show." I scoffed. "You guys are weird."

I started to walk away, then only Rachel stopped me. "Yeah, um, ok..." she started. "You're not gonna like this."

"What?!" I asked impatiently again.

"See...Courtney and Duncan are a couple." she bit her bottom lip.

"Where are آپ going with this?" I asked nervously.

"Yeah, um....You and Douglas have to kiss." she said, then there was a long silence in the room. Nobody moved, nobody even breathed loud enough to be slightly heard. Then I turned my head angrily at Douglas, who was smirking, and I could tell he switched my card.

"You didn't....." I said, angrily. My face turned red with anger, my blood boiled. Then his smirk fell and he looked at me, terrified.

I screamed in anger, then he screamed in fear and ran down the hall, and I ran after him. He was the fastest runner in my class, and I was the third, but this was no excuse to be slower than him.

I hurdled over chairs, hot on his tail. He didn't dare look back, because he hotly knew that I was right there. Everybody else was running out of the building to watch as I chased Doug out into the empty parking lot.

"Damn!" Bryan said. "What, is this girl a track star?!?"

Caitlyn scoffed. "You should see her at school. She leaves trails of آگ کے, آگ behind her."

I willed my long legs to run faster. My vision blurred, my head throbbed, and my دل pounded so hard that my rib cage hurt.

Then, Douglas collapsed to the ground, thirty feet ahead of me, then I fainted and collapsed on سب, سب سے اوپر of him.

He was NOT getting out of this one.
