When I’m playing my Nintendo DS, I do not like to be interrupted.

Just get that one fact straight. “Yes... yes!” I squealed. “Omigod. Almost to the fight area...” I murmured to myself. I sat slouched on my green beanbag chair, and I stared intently into my DS screen.
“Sofie!” A voice called from downstairs. I felt a flicker of irritation towards my mother for interrupting.
“What now, Mom?” I called back.
There was no answer, just some strained footsteps that I didn’t care much about. I shrugged and focused on my DS game. I knew my DS time was limited, so I wanted to get as much as I could, since today was the last دن of spring break. The اگلے day, I would be in my dumb school uniform and sitting in Science when my DS sat in the little shelf in my mother’s room, just where I couldn’t reach.
“To the fight area...” I sang.

What now, Mom? “Yeah?”

Oh... damn. That was when it all flashed back. Ranma was coming over today. Ranma, with his messy blackish hair and dark, adorable eyes... I snapped shut my DS and ran downstairs.

I saw him there, in his usual red-and-black outfit. I waved flirtatiously at him, and then looked at my mom. “Er... sorry I forgot to tell you...” I started.
“Sofie...” my mother warned.
“I’ll explain later, Mom,” I pleaded.
Ranma didn’t say anything, and I dragged him up to my room. “Finally!” I said, rolling my eyes. Your house is a block away from mine. We were supposed to meet at 3:30, آپ idiot. How long can it take to walk one block?”
“What time is it now?” I asked me, raising an eyebrow.
“8:21.”
“Oh... sorry.” He smiled sheepishly (so cute!) and looked around. “Is this your room, Sofie?”
“Duh.” I pulled him to the window. “Look at these! Aren’t they cute?” On my window I had stuck little Pokemon stickers everywhere, which I thought were adorable.
“Er... what are they?” Ranma asked.
“Pokemon, idiot!” I muttered affectionately. Ranma may be half-girl, kind of clueless at times, and plus he had the puffiest hair in the world [:3] ... but those were the things I loved best about him.
“Oh.” He shook his head.
“Ranma... Saotome,” I said, exasperated. “You are CLUELESS.”
“Um, thanks?” He answered, then smiled slyly.
“So... are these Pokemon... wait. What are Pokemon?”
I didn’t answer that. I poked him in the ribs, hoping he got the message.
He tipped his head to the side. “Sofie... uh... am I supposed to say آپ have a nice room?”
I whacked my forehead. “Say whatever آپ like, Ranma.”
“Um... آپ have a nice room,” he said.
“Thank you,” I drawled.
“What am I supposed to say now?” He hissed in my ear.

I decided to just have a little fun with him.
“Say, You’re awesome, Sofie,” I said.
“You’re awesome, Sofie.” Ranma smiled his awkwardly-adorable smile.
“Good. Now say, I will give آپ anything آپ want, Sofie.”
“I will give you... wait, what? I will?”
“Just say it!” I said, exasperated.
“I will give آپ anything آپ want, Sofie.” He rolled his eyes.
“Now say, Knock, knock.”
Ranma grinned. “Hey, I know that one! Who’s there?”

Agghh.

“No, Ranma. Repeat after me.”
“Okay. No, Ranma, repeat after me.”
“No, Ranma, that’s not what I meant!” My voice rose.
“No, Ranma, that’s not what I meant!” He repeated.
Oh... my... god. This was not a romantic date, like it was supposed to be. Well, I always tend to mess “romantic” things up, anyway.

“Ahh,” he yawned. “Nice بستر آپ got there. I think I’m just gonna have a little nap...”
He stretched out on my bed, and at that point, my mind disconnected from the rest of my body. I sprang on سب, سب سے اوپر of him, and he shrieked, startled. I laughed.
“Ranma, آپ had to have seen that one coming,” I teased.
Ranma, still shocked, sighed. “You’re insane, Sofie, آپ know that?”
“Thank you,” I shrugged, unbothered.

I wrapped my arms around him, and he closed his eyes to my touch. He smiled silently, and I smothered a giggle. Seeing Ranma like this was interesting. Usually he had three things to his personality... awkwardness, toughness, and hating-Ryoga-ness. I still had my arms around him, and I could tell that he enjoyed it as much as I did. His head rolled to the side, and I could tell he was like, two منٹ from being asleep.
And I was right. In a منٹ and a half, he was out cold, probably being from running around all day. I told him my address exactly, and he had took like four hours to find it? Seriously? Was he becoming Ryoga?

I left him for a moment, even though I would have liked to stay that way forever... and I slouched back onto my green beanbag chair as quietly as slouching allowed. I grabbed my DS, and I flipped it open.
“Yes, yes,yes! Almost there!” I squealed, a little bit too loudly. Too late, I put my hand up to my mouth, and Ranma stirred.

His eyes flickered open, and unfortunately, he was sleeping on the very edge of my bed. He tumbled off, with a startled whoa! and fell into my giant pile of Pokemon stuffies.
