Do آپ think its wise to think about the age range آپ are writing to when آپ are writing?

i think آپ should finish the book, then, when آپ think its exellent, choose an age range

Thinking about the age range will make it harder for آپ ro say what آپ want to say, to express what آپ want to express. Don't try to "dumb it down" for younger children, یا the quality of your writing will drop,too.

Write what آپ know. Write how آپ want to write. Your writing is not a commercial product. It's taking YOUR ideas, YOUR thoughts, and YOUR feelings and putting them down on paper. آپ are using YOUR vocabulary. آپ are not writing down anyone else's thoughts; آپ are not using anyone else's ideas, and آپ are not using anyone else's vocabulary.

Your story will be a great story if آپ write it the way آپ want to write it. Write it for people like YOU.

You're not writing it for anyone but yourself-remember that, and you'll do great. :D

Yeah, because ike yo usaid, vocabulary. Also, if آپ have a romance scene یا a battle scene, آپ have to keep in mind how much detail is in it.

I do think it's wise, but at the same time, if آپ are writing for teens, and you're using harder vocab. I think it's good for them to see those words. Maybe to expand vocabulary

I usually don't. For me, I write what I want to write, and then afterwards whatever age range it appeals to is fine with me. It just happens however it happens, I don't let it interfere with my writing. Anybody can read it.

Also, I feel like when آپ do that, it tends to your audience.

Yeah it's wise to. Writing for your age group though is a lot easier.

آپ definitely should keep the age range you're writing for in mind when آپ write. I mean come on, if آپ want the book to be bought سے طرف کی adults, it better not be written like a book for babies, they wont like it. Its also important the book be understandable to the people you're writing the book for. A kid's book shouldn't use to many big words and no book should use words یا concepts the readers won't understand.

Personally i think it depends. With me i let the story take me where it's going to go then i decide in the editing process. for instance i started out with this one story intended to be in the young adult genre but now as it's developed it might be مزید suited for a مزید mature audience.
but i have دوستوں that choose young adult and stick to it stricter than a marine DI.

I suppose, if آپ go into the story with a specific age range in mind and are determined to keep it that way.
