Chapter 9
Patrick
Jason walked into the room that he heard the sound from. There, was a human boy wearing glasses, and cupped to the wall. He looked slightly older than Jason.
“Who are you?” asked Jason.
“I’m Patrick,” the boy said, straining his throat.
“How did آپ get here?” Asked Jason.
Still struggling, Patrick said,” I was in a play, in my school, Santa Clara High, and I had a flame on my two legs, cause that was part of my character. Then I walked to the school across the سٹریٹ, گلی to pick up my younger brother. Before I could get my brother, I randomly walked into this room with a black ball. There was this creature and he explained all this stuff. Then I was in this society, and they کہا I was an intruder and locked me up here.
Jason found the key lying somewhere in the room, and freed Patrick.
“Thanks,” exclaimed Patrick.
“You’re welcome,” replied Jason.
“Oh, cool glasses!” کہا Jason.
Chapter 10
An Idea
“These are special glasses. These are not like the ordinary. I can use these glasses to look into the future,” exclaimed Patrick.
“Stop joking with me. This is serious!” Angered Jason.
“I would be glad to help you, if you’d believe me!” summoned Patrick.
“Fine! Continue then!” Jason angrily replied to Patrick.
“ Okay, so, if I touch a part on my glasses I can look into the future. I can only look a ماہ a head of time though. I just looked into the future as آپ were annoying me.
Jason’s head practically sunk into his shirt.
“Anyways, a ماہ ahead of time is black space, as if where Earth is, there is nothing. So I think whatever your weapon is, it is not powerful enough. There for, we need an idea,” Patrick explained.
“Impossible! I have like 20,000 blue flames and the creatures only have one, and don’t even have a weapon!”
“Well, just from looking into the future a long time ago, I saw that the creatures copied the blue flame, and added super powerful weapons to it to make a bigger, and a better weapon!” explained Patrick.
“So what do we do?” asked Jason.
“I don’t know,” Patrick replied.
“Hey, why is one of your eyes darker than the other?” asked Jason,
“Oh, have a patch on it,” Patrick answered.
“Take it off and maybe آپ could—
No,” interrupted Patrick.
Uh,” sighed Jason.
Patrick sighed back, and took off his eye patch. Oddly, he could see!
“Hey I can see with left eye!” exclaimed Patrick.
“Let me finish what I’m saying!” Jason angered as, he paid absolutely no attention to what Patrick exclaimed. “Well, maybe if آپ touched the same part that آپ did on the right, except on the left this time, maybe آپ could look into the past,” کہا Jason.
“ I’m sure you’re going to be wrong, but I’ll give it a try. Patrick touched the upper left side of his glasses, and boy, Jason was right.
“I can look into the past! You’re right!” Patrick exclaimed with relief.
“So, what do آپ see?” asked Jason
“Well, I see آپ in your bedroom dying with pain,” Patrick replied
“Impossible! That was only yesterday!” کہا Jason.
“On Earth, it’s December 16, and it’s around Christmas,” کہا Patrick.
“I started this stupid thing on November 15!” Replied Jason in shock.
“Here, آپ اقدام one yard every fifteen and a half minutes. I know what آپ might be thinking. The time on Earth was frozen while I was in the mission, but that is not true,” explained Patrick. Jason’s mind finally caught on to the situation.
“How do آپ know all this?” asked Jason. Again, just like before, Patrick was out smarted. His head spun around and then poofed away. The only thing left was his glasses. Jason put them on, touched the upper right side of the glasses, and کہا the word Patrick. The power of the name is a powerful thing, and Jason used it at the perfect time.
He was swooped into blackness. Nothingness. Blankness. Again. But this time, the strange type of time travelling still hadn’t ended.

"Andrew? Andrew? Are آپ okay?" Andrew hear Elizabeth's gentle, velvety voice as his consicness returned to him. "Hey honey, you've been asleep for awhile now." She seemed very concerned, considering she had only known him for a few hours. After the room stopped spinning, Andrew sat up and looked around. He was still in the hotel, but, he didn't recognize the room. When his gaze fell on Elizabeth, the room started spinning again. "So, when آپ said, "When I was alive." did آپ mean that you're a ghost?" Elizabeth's face was grim and solemn. "Yes. I'm a ghost." Suddenly, Andrew smelled cinnamon, honey, and something he didn't recognize. "Andrew I have to go. I'll be back tonight. سے طرف کی the way, call me Liz." She flashed him a dazzling smile, and she was gone. "Wow."
I make mistakes
I mess up
but it was nevr enough
I no longer cry for you
no مزید pain
that means I will no longer stand it
آپ took my دل and ran it strait into the planet
now I'm taking control of this relationship
command it
that means I no longer die for
no longer cry for آپ
no مزید pain
but آپ always win
as th blood trickles down my arm
I wisper آپ name into the dark
Cierra
the pain I went through for you
no longer
is anyone out there
feels like I'm talking o myslelf
feels like I'm going insane
feels crazy
guess I keep talking to myself
why in the world do I feel so alone
nobody but me
I'm on my own
is there anyone out there
that feels just what I feel
guess it's just me.

Pride is a belief in myself (or someone else) that within me is something no one else has just like me. Pride can be a wonderful thing. My coaches are proud of me when I execute a اقدام perfectly. I am proud of my efforts when I get the right answer to a test question. However, pride can have a negative connotation. If I am prideful of my singing talent یا of my sports accomplishments, then I am not feeling the right kind of pride. Yes, I can be pleased with my abilities; but when I let it go to my head, then I am full of pride, just like Odysseus often was. سے طرف کی believing that I am the only person with that talent, I inflate my ego. I believe myself to be “the best of the best,” and this can damage my relationships with others. They would not want my company if the only things I spoke of were my own accomplishments.
Meghan ran to the bus stop, where she saw Pompika. Thankfully Pompika looked at her politely and کہا “You know I saw Reg but ya know, how she’s jus’ across the street, she seems a lil’ mad!” Meghan thought for a سیکنڈ and thought ‘why lose Pompika?’ and said, “Geez I don’t know?” Now she wished she had told the truth, instead of lying. “Oh I wish ya did.” Pompika said. “Tsk-Tsk, bad grammar Pompi” کہا Meghan. “Sorry, fine I wish آپ did. There ya… آپ go” “Hhhmmm, nice save.” Meghan said. “Hey look, Reg’s a comin’” کہا Pompika. “Great that’s good… wait REG!!!” کہا Meghan. “What?” کہا Pompika. "nothing."
