Chapter 2
An odd man stepped out of the car and instantly I knew who it was. It was the man that came into the دکان during my shift. He stalked me all the way down here and now he was standing in front of me. I wanted to scream because of the scary feeling I got from look in his eyes but I found no voice. I was stupid to go to the outer edges of the park where almost nobody was. And the سیکنڈ I could find a breath his hand was over my mouth and I was thrown into the back of a car that was cold and wet. I could barely hear the voices in the front of the car and I wanted to know where I was going.

“We got her!” a man’s scratchy voice کہا with triumph.
“Yes, we did, but I heard her call her mom so the police should be looking for her tonight.” The man from the counter said. I knew I recognized the voice but I couldn’t be sure it was him. Until now. It was too late for me. I was already on my way to hell. I thought I knew what these types of people would do to me. They were men, what else would they do?
The ride to the place where they wanted me took hours and now I was crying because I wanted to be with my mom. I didn’t want to be here. I knew she would call the police and have them look for me but I couldn’t comfort myself enough to stop crying an actually think. Then I heard a voice from the front نشست of the car.

“We got her but I bet she is scared! She doesn’t even know why we did this. And we have a good explanation for it.” The man that came into the store said.
“We do have a good reason for this ... but Roger I don’t want to put too much information in her head. Let’s just take her to my house and we will tell her that we mean no harm and let her sleep on it. OK? Even me, C.J. can think in that way! Haha.” the other man chuckled.
“Well I guess that she might need that time to figure out that we aren’t here to hurt her and that we are only here to meet her.” Roger replied.
It was an odd feeling to be comfortable in the back of a car in which I did not know but it just seemed to feel better that I somewhat knew their intentions. I also knew that they might be thinking I am listening to them so they were just trying to comfort me so that they could hurt me, but I was fully aware of what was going on. I perhaps was just a little bit مزید aware of what could happen یا what they might do.
The car slowly came to a stop in what felt like a gravel driveway. I think we were at the person’s house but I didn’t know what to expect next. I just lay on my back hopping that they wouldn’t hurt me. Then I heard footsteps on the gravel and it seemed that they were coming over to the back of the car where I was and I wanted to know what they were going to do to me so I just waited. The footsteps came closer and closer and I was sort of scared when I hear the lock on the تنے, ٹرنک of the car open and they opened the trunk.
“Hello, I’m Roger and this is my friend C.J.”
“We don’t mean آپ any harm. We are here to introduce ourselves. We mean nothing bad. I am related to you. I’m your uncle but I never knew آپ because your family moved away. We have lots to talk about, but we will wait till the morning after آپ have had some sleep. OK?”
“Oh. OK.” I replied in a tired and nervous voice.
“Come inside and make yourself at home.”
The house was huge and it was very spacious. Light brown carpet covered the floor until آپ got to the باورچی خانے, باورچی خانہ where it was the most beautiful tile in the world. It was a cream color but it looked like it had carvings in it. I thought it was a weird place for the باورچی خانے, باورچی خانہ because right as آپ walked in the front door the باورچی خانے, باورچی خانہ door was to your left. It was a two story house. They took me up to my bedroom which looked as big as a master bedroom.
I figured they really didn’t mean any harm because of the way they were treating me. But, no matter what I will be on the lookout for something that might seem weird. And then it hit me! If they meant no harm they would let me call my mother. I went down to the living room with the big flat screen that had a football game on and thought I could ask.
“Hey, can I use the phone to call my mom. I کہا she needed to pick me up at the park but آپ took me instead.”
“That’s what we have to talk about.”
“What do آپ mean?”
They both gave each other a glance and looked back at me.
“The reason we haven’t met yet is because your mom doesn’t want me to meet you. I had a rough life as a kid and was into drugs and alcohol, but now I’m a new man. She just didn’t want me around آپ because she didn’t want آپ to be the same way. I wanted to know آپ but your mom کہا no so this is the only way we can talk. Please understand me.” Roger کہا sadly.
I stood there for a moment not knowing what to say یا think. But then it came to me.
“Is that why آپ came and took me this way?”
“Yes.” Roger stated.
“I understand I just am so stunned and I really want to talk to my mom. Can I call her and tell her I’m at a friend’s house and will be back in a while?”
“Yes, I suppose. But if she asks don’t tell her my name. Please. She will have me arrested within seconds.”
I understood that but I didn’t like keeping secrets from my mom. But I wanted him here and wanted my mom to know I was safe. So I dialed and the phone rang until she picked up.
“Hey, it’s me mom”
“Oh my gosh! Where are you? آپ ok? Did anyone hurt you? What’s going on? I thought آپ کہا آپ would be at the park! Where are آپ missy!?”
“Hey mom I am fine. I am at a friend’s house and I will be here for awhile. I haven’t seen her in forever so I will be a while before I come home. They are providing everything. I am fine.”
“Who is this friend of yours?”
“Oh, it is a friend from school. Ok mom don’t freak out. I’m fine. I will call آپ tomorrow alright?”
“Ok. Fine. But آپ better not be doing anything you’re not supposed to. And call tomorrow for sure!”
“Ok. I love آپ mom.”
“I love آپ to Ashlie.”
“Bye.”
“Bye.”
I set the phone down and کہا goodnight to them and went to my room. I sat there trying to figure out what I was going to do because I just lied to my mom, I have no idea where I am, and I have no idea if these people are fake یا real. I was in a tuff situation. Well the most I could do right now is go to بستر and get some sleep. So I fell asleep.
