Ok people may think i'm crazy but i'm going to say it anyway:The Last Dance totally reminded me of the Clearing Scene in the books.

Just re-watched the Delena scene again. When Damon کہا the classic line to Elena "If it comes down to آپ یا the witch again, I will gladly let Bonnie die. آپ know in this episode I think it was the most little things that were the most important to us. The first one is Bonnie laughing while watching Damon dance. To me that shows that the writers are planning some kind of development in their relationship, maybe towards a friendship. ive watched it and at first when he کہا "ill always choose you" it was weird but then i remembered when damon pretended he didnt care about elena but in the other hand he caressed her face when she was asleep.
same here , he claims he didnt care but his face when bonnie "died" whereas he EVEN knew the truth about her...he caressed her face.
