Briana was the principal of Hill Valley Elementary, and had a very strict anti-Drugz policy. Drugz had been introduced from dimension Z ten years earlier: the interdimensional beings (people called them "indems") from dimension Z came in peace, but they sold the incredibly addictive narcotic to anyone who cared to try it. The indems mostly stayed in the City for some reason, so Briana and her top secret team of Drugz-Busters working undercover at Hill Valley were mostly successful. They certainly didn't need the added complication of narcotics getting in the way of the annual exam scores. Though ordinarily she would pay closer attention, the principal didn't personally investigate the new student, Kaiden, as something more dire was occupying her time the last few days.
