People are passionate about defending their کتابیں that they love. I know that and I’ve done it. What’s really disturbing is when the users of Fanpop use this site to bring people down یا just to openly hate.

Harry Potter and Twilight are going to be compared. No other two کتابیں have the same rabid following and they both have strong roots in the supernatural. I welcome debate and exchanging of opinions, when it’s friendly. Some of the تبصرے I’ve seen on these فورم could not be called friendly debate. It just makes me sick when I know that there are people out there that are willing to be so mean just based on the words of people we don’t even know. It’s not worth it to me to sacrifice the person that I want to be just to defend my book of choice.

I think this applies to Harry Potter شائقین as well as Twilight ones. In general, Twilight شائقین are the most verbal is expressing their love for the books. Most of the insane پرستار stories I hear are of Twilight fans, annd likewise most of the profane تبصرے that I see are from them as well. But Harry Potter شائقین are just as able to do these things.
