"Mom? Mom?" An explosion came from the sewers, dust and debris shooting up the manhole. Julie gasped. "Oh no..." Gas mask. I need a gas mask. She ran into a house and started looking around. "Shit shit shit, I need a gas mask!" Julie opened closets and drawers; but couldn't find anything. Then she cracked open a chest and found everything آپ would need for a bomb, so of course there were gas masks. She quickly put one on, grabbed a flashlight, and ran back out, almost tripping a few times. The girl jumped into the hole and turned on the light. She walked as quickly as she could through the tunnels to get to her mother. "Mom? Can آپ hear me?" She found the door they had walked through. Most of the dust and small debris had already come out of the room. Bodies were splattered to the walls, blood puddles collecting on the ground, skulls flattened, bones visible, the worst of the worst. Julie moved her flashlight around nervously, looking for her mothers body. "Mom? Please tell me you're alive!" Tears were about to come out of her eyes when the short haired girl saw the blood colored cape her mother wore. As she rushed to it, the small bit of wind she produced blew it away and revealed Rene's body.
It was grusome. The side of her head gushed blood and آپ could see her skull. Her back had a few holes in it, probably sharp objects puncturing her all the way through her body. The metal on her leg was still attached, but very badly scratched. Her feet were coated in blood, آپ couldn't even see her skin. Julie went to her side and flipped her over so she could see her face. A smile was imprinted on her mothers face, eyes closed. Scratches took over her face, with some blood as well. Her stomach and chest had the same holes her back had, and one arm was obviously broken in half. Julie started to cry. How could her mother come back to life after such an implosion? She buried her head in her mothers bloody chest, crying her eyes out. But, in an instant, she heard a دل beat. Julie lifted her head quicker than Kid Flash and stared at Rene. What the hell? Then Rene gasped and opened her eyes, looking at her daughter.
"Hey Julie. How's it going?"
"How's it going? آپ just died!" Rene picked herself up, ignoring the rushing pain that shifted though her entire body.
"Grab my boots, will you?" In shock, Julie did as her mother asked. The red head gathered the items that were in her shoe and put them in a pile. When Julie came back with her shoes, Rene slipped them on and shoved everything back into them. "Alright, let's go honey."

Rene used up most of her energy to teleport them back to the apartment. When they got inside, she fell onto the couch.
"Mom? آپ okay?"
"Yeah sweetie, I'm fine." Rene reached to grab her cell phone. Clicking a button, she made Zack and Annabeth appear in the room.
"Mom!" Annabeth screamed and rushed to her, tackling her in a hug, tears streaming down her cheeks. The red head wrapped her arms around her daughter and smiled.
"Don't cry Annabeth. Please don't cry." Zack came over and sat اگلے to them, examining the damage done to her body. Annabeth lifted her head to look at her mother.
"Why are آپ covered in blood?"
"Don't worry about it sweetie. We're all محفوظ now, that's all that matters." A small cripple smile appeared upon Rene's face, trying to reassure her daughter. "Why don't آپ give Julie a hug? I bet she really wants one." Rene picked her youngest daughter up and handed her to Julie. Annabeth immediately clung to her. Zack carefully pulled his wife over to him and wrapped an arm around her.
"You don't have to pretend آپ aren't hurt in front of her," he whispered. "She's eleven."
"No, I have to. She's still too young." He sighed and kissed the part of her head that wasn't coated in blood.
"I'll go get some cloth to clean up the blood." And he got up and went into the kitchen. Julie sat down in a chair, her little sister in her lap. Julie looked over at her mother, looking at her injuries.
They had gotten better then when she first saw her. The broken arm was completely healed and most of the skin on her head had grown back, along with the bright red hair. The holes in her chest were still there, but they looked as if they were healing from inside first. Rene noticed her looking and Julie quickly turned her head away.
Zack came back with a warm wet washcloth and started to clean the blood off of Rene's head. He wiped her face, intensely cleaning the blood off her lips, then quickly kissing them before her moved on to the rest of her body. Julie made her face look disgusted, but she thought it was kind of sweet. After almost a hundred years, they were still madly in love with each other. When her father finished cleaning off the blood, the holes in Rene were gone and her skin and hair had grown all the way back. That was fast.
"Let's get آپ to bed," Zack کہا as he helped his wife up. "You two, go get some sleep." Annabeth ran over and hugged both her parents, then ran to her room. Julie looked at her mother, knowing nothing would ever be the same again.
"Dad. How can آپ let mom go and risk her life everyday?"
"Your mother is stubborn," the red head elbowed him in the side, "and would risk her own life for anyone." Julie smiled and walked to her room.
"Come on. I'm ready for 'bed'." Rene looked at him, a devilish smile crawling on her face.
"You're absolutely crazy, آپ know that?"
"Of course," she کہا as she kissed him pulling him to their room, and then shutting the door behind them.
