Ok so at the end of "The Greater Good"...

house was saying all this mean stuff to Cuddy about how she will be even worse at her job cause she has a baby now, but when house got in the elavator, Cuddy had a really big smile on her face..what was she so happy about?

She's smiling because she knows she's right, that was the only way in which House can acknowledge her appology and he has to go back to the part he thinks he has to play, the part of the official jerk, because accepting her apology in a grown up way is opening up way مزید than he's ready to.
