Has HOUSE M.D jumped the shark??

"House": "House's descent into idiocy started when he fired all of his ducklings in the Season 3 finale. But the real شارک jumping began when the writers decided to shove Huddy down our throats, even making every single character on the دکھائیں 'ship them. I stopped watching in Season 5 (after House and Cuddy kissed), and now whenever I hear about the current soap opera crap going on in the show, I sigh in relief that I got out of that mess when I did. Death to Huddy!"

do آپ agree?? what do آپ think??

Okaay, so 'jumped shark' maybe a bit too harsh. But, for the rest I agree with you.

I've actually been worried that I was the only person on the [H]OUSE M.D. planet that felt this way. I pretend it all ends after the season 5 finale.
I really missed the old ducklings. (and to make a correction, House didn't آگ کے, آگ them all, Foreman and Cameron quit, he only fired Chase) Things have changed dramatically since season 3. But the دکھائیں couldn't go on like that. It was all getting too tense. The excitement would eventually fade away and vanish completely. The writers had no choice. The storyline had to change. I didn't mind the new ducklings. I actually liked them. But too much change too soon is not the best route the writers should've taken. Amber's death, Kutner's suicide, Cameron's leaving, Thirteen's impending death and dissapearence all happened so fast. It's like they're shoving the storyline down our throats, pretty much the same way they're shoving Huddy.

But other things have picked up in season 7. The medical mysteries are better than they were in season 6. Huddy was rather interesting to begin with, but when every episode revolves around it, it gets old. House was fine the way he was. Lonely, misanthropic and a drug addict. I believe the main problem is House getting off the Vicodin, and getting into therapy. It's rather dissapointing turn to alll of us who enjoyed his drug popping habits and anti-social ways.

I also hate how the producers seem to imply House's pain is psychosomatic یا to state plainly, all in his head. I mean, the pain's supposed to get worse now that he's off the narcotics. But I've noticed it's just barely mentioned after the first few episodes of S6. For example, Lucas tripped House in S6E13 Moving The Chains, he bounced back up like it was nothing!

In the new season, his leg pain's barely mentioned. The only thing that's changed is Huddy. Which brings me back to my point that the producers seem to imply House's pain is psychosomatic!

I'm rambling, aren't I? I'm sorry. I'm sure half of what I've written doesn't have much to do with the question.

I'll just لپیٹ, لفاف کریں this one off.

I loved House. I still do, anything before the season 5 finale. I miss the old ducklings, and the dead/dissapeared new ones. I miss the H&W friendship there was in seasons 1-3. I'm tired of Huddy. Point blank, it's boring, and coma-invoking.

In reality, their relationship shouldn't survive. Cuddy is controlling and domineering. House is rebellious and independant. I know opposites attract but this is utterly ridiculous!

So, yeah, death to Huddy. Even though I still think 'jumped shark' is a bit too much. It wasn't all bad. I rather liked the H&W loft sharing part in season 6. The kicking out part; not so much. But, hey, that's why god invented fanfiction.

I'm rambling again, aren't I?

Just know that آپ are not alone. I feel the same way about the changes that have been occuring on the دکھائیں and all the Huddiness that's been shoved down our throats. In S7, it's gotten unbearable which is why I can't bring myself to watch House anymore.

No, House has not jumped the shark. At least not for me. Season 7 has been perfect so far.

People who stop watching shows just because their پسندیدہ couple doesn't pair up are stupid. I really can't think of that many Huddy شائقین who did not watch season 6. They bashed it, yes, but continued watching it. I loved season 6 just as much as I love every seson of House. And if آپ یا other شائقین don't like Huddy یا the way it's been dealt with, this season has other amazing aspects.

What @pitruska wanted to say sweetie is that usually we ask things like this in picks, whereas سوالات are used to ask other fans' help about sth random, for instance an info آپ can't find, links...pics...whatever kind of info آپ need آپ can use this space. If آپ want to ask for an opinion, usually either we post picks یا an مضمون یا open a فورم thread. This is nothing serious though :) It's just a general rule to help پرستار sorting out the info on the spot. Have fun
